Kastro Beach is located on the north-eastern side of the island. It is quite near to Lefkada Town (about 2 min. by car) and can be found between Ammoglossa Beach and Gyra Beach. It is also in close proximity to the castle (Kastro in Greek), but not next to it, so be careful if asking for directions that the two are not confused. Kastro Beach is easily accessible by a paved road and has free parking available next to the beach. Many locals go to this beach with their bicycles due to its close proximity to Lefkada Town. There are buses from Lefkada Town to Kastro Beach, but you can also go on foot (about 15 – 20 min. walk from Lefkada Town).
Palairos is a small and relatively shallow harbor in the Greek mainland, some nine miles by sea, east of the south end of the Lefkada canal. It also lies barely a mile north of the harbor and the Vounaki marina, the main sun sail charter base in this part of Greece.
Port Spilia is the other harbor of Meganisi in the Ionian Islands. Lying at the head of a deep inlet at the northwest end of the island, the harbor provides berthing for around 50 yachts on its various quays and pontoons, although the depths in the inlet are simply too great for most yachts to anchor.
The Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni or Moni Faneromeni is the most important religious centre on the island of Lefkada. Situated in Frini, on the hilltop above Lefkas Town, this monastery offers a breathtaking view to the capital village, the northern side of the island and the opposite coasts of the mainland.
Α walk in the pedestrian street of the central market with its many shops and cafés in the west coast of the island is ideal for all tastes. The Central Market is next to the Venetian canal, which allows guests to enjoy the magical sunset in Gira.
"Megali Petra is another beach not to be missed while on Lefkada. Located at the western part of the island, very near to Kalamitsi beach, Megali Petra has been named after the huge rocks that are scattered on its waterfront, meaning ""great rocks"" in Greek.
Kathisma is arguably one of the most beautiful beaches of Lefkada located 15 km southeast of the main town, close to the village of Agios Nikitas.

Pefkoulia is an impressive large sandy beach located 10 km southwest of Lefkada town ad close to the fishing village of Agios Nikitas. Considered as one of the best beaches of the island, the sea at Pefkoulia has a wonderful turquoise color that attracts many visitors.
Large, sandy beach, close enough to the town of Preveza, about 5 km Shortly after the Cote d'Azur, Kalamitsi offers wonderful addition to the shade of eucalyptus trees, a beach. Aimed at tourists, but is also ideal for families as the water is clean and fairly shallow.
