Lagadakia is a small bay located 40 km west of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. It is known for its grey pebbles in all shapes and sizes. Lagadakia beach is surrounded by beautiful landscape and has rocky formations around the bay. Being a remote beach, it is a great place to relax and enjoy some peaceful moments with your friends and family. For those who are looking for deep and clean waters to practice some snorkeling, the pebbly seafloor of Lagadakia is a great choice. As the beach is not very popular, it provides no facilities like sunbeds and umbrellas. Instead, the rocky outcrops act as natural shaded areas for the tourists. They are also advised to carry plenty of water.
Navigational Aids
Harbor Argostolíou is on the SW coasts of the namesake bay. The coasts of the harbor are quayed for about 1,425 m NW of the stone bridge at the head of the gulf, which separates it from lagoon Koútavos, and have depths of less than 2.
It is one of the most important monuments of Kefalonia. It was built in 19th century and is 8 metres tall.

Argostoli Marina has been built opposite the main harbor of Argostoli, south of the power station. Its entrance is open west and has a width of about 50 m.
The Municipal theater Kefalos of Kefalonia is located in Argostoli, between the main square and the famous street Plakostroto. It was built in 1857, while Kefalonia was under British rule and it was bombed in 1943 during World War II.
Lithostroto is at the heart of the town of Argostoli. It is basically the historical street which was destroyed from the earthquake of 1983 and rebuilt today, becoming the most commercial and secular street of town.
Makrys Gialos is a nice tourist resort that lies around a beautiful and crystalline bay. It is located 4 km south of Argostoli,the capital of Kefalonia.

Petani is a magnificent beach located in a distance of 20 km west of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia in the beautiful peninsula of Pelliki. It consists of blue crystal waters and a stunning landscape of huge verdant cliffs that reach the blue sea.
One of the most impressive and beautiful beaches of Kefalonia is Lepeda, unique for its red and orange waters. The beach stretches for 100 meters south of Lixouri and 33 km west of Argostoli, the capital of kefalonia.

At the end of the village of Kalligata Livathos, a red sand beach is divided in two by striking a rock. The water is relatively shallow and is ideal for children.
