Harbor Lefkímmis is formed 2.3 miles NW of cape Kountoúris. It is trapezium-shaped and open N, with an entrance opening of 140 m. It is protected by a curved windward mole that extends ENE for 600 m and by a leeward mole that extends E for 260 m. There are lights at their heads; a green one on the starboard side and a red one on the port side of incoming vessels.
The leeward mole is quayed from its root to 120 m to the E. The remaining part up to the head is made of natural boulders. The inner coasts of the harbor are quayed. Due to continuous silting in the inner south shores of the port the depths are constantly changing.
