Koronisias Harbor
Exploring Arta Sailing Holidays area
Small harbor Koronisías, open S, with an entrance opening of 30 m and depths of 1.5 m at its axis, is formed about 2 miles ESE of cape Salaóras. It has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 160x100 m. It is protected by a curved mole that extends W for 150 m, continues S for 95 m and then SE for 40 m.
Its outer side has been enhanced with protective boulders. Depths inside the small harbor are 1.5–2 m. When entering, vessels should keep near the head of the mole, where waters are deeper.
Caution is needed during S, W and N winds, which affect the small harbor and force vessels to take emergency safety measures.
