Plaka Beach at Agios Antonios
Exploring Tilos Sailing Holidays area
It is located 2.5 km west of Agios Antonios, on the way to the monastery of Agios Panteleimonas. Secluded from buildings or amenities, the beach of Plaka is pebbled and quite green. It is long enough to provide privacy to those in need of it. Behind the beach there is the field of Plaka, which used to belong to the monastery of Agios Panteleimonas and products of which were exported to nearby islands.
Navigational Aids
Already one of the most yacht-friendly Greek harbors in the Aegean, Livadia is now even more so with the establishment in 2008 of ten laid moorings along the main quay. As a result, no anchoring in the harbor is now permitted.
The small port of Ágios Antónios is located at the eastern part of the bay’s Plágio head and is the port of Megálo Chorió, which is located in a distance of approximately 2 km to the inland. The small port is open to the southwest and is protected by two moles.
Beautiful beach with pebbles. A path to the edge of the cliff above the sea connects the beach to Livadia.
