Sailing Tip

Anchorage may be obtained at the eastern part of the bay’s head, in front of the small port of Ágios Stéfanos, at depths of approximately 20 m that are good holding, bearing the light of the bay of Livádia at 069º in a distance of approximately 250 m. When the weather is fair, vessels can secure their sterns with a line upon the moles. When the weather is bad, with southeast and east winds prevailing, vessels can anchor at depths of 26 m, bearing the chapel of Ágios Nikólaos at 250º in a distance of 300 m.
