Opened in 2005, the Leros War Museum is situated in Lakki and constitutes a testament to the weapons of mass destruction and loss of human life in the Second World War. Leros Marina is the first private marina and boatyard in the Dodecanese sailing area. The Leros Municipal Airport (IATA: LRS), serving the island of Leros, is in the northeast part of the island in Partheni, 17km from Lakki, only 20 minutes drive from the marina.
