There is a stone jetty at the northern head of the bay, with depths less than 4 m lying close to its head. The jetty is used from the local fishing boats and crafts. The bottom consists of mud and sand. It is covered by sea weeds, it is not good holding and vessels ought to secure their sterns using a long line to the shore.
