Beautiful Parasporos Beach, just 3 km south of Parikia, is justifiably one the most popular beaches on the island of Paros. Tucked in a sheltered bay, the long, sandy beach offers an ideal swimming, sunbathing and sporting locale prized by both residents and visitors alike.
A small sandy beach with palm trees all over it, perched in a scenic and exotic bay, Agia Irini is an ideal beach for relaxation far from the crowd. It is also ideal for children, as its waters are crystal clear and not deep.
Follow the coast of Krios, the Martsello Paros is a great solution for those who like the youthful hubbub, always in the best sense. It is just 2.
Just 2 km from the center of Parikia, on the northern edge of the homonymous bay, the beach of Krios. Access is very easy because the signs, at Livadi it will lead you directly to Krios.
The beach of Agios Fokas is situated at a distance of some 6 kilometers far from Paroikia at the North, very close to the homonymous cape at the entrance of the bay of Paroikia. Very close to the beach it is found the small twin church of Agios Sostis and Analipsi, where on the feast of Analipsi it takes place a local feast (“panighyri”).
Parikia is the main commercial harbor of the island. It is a fairly busy and noisy harbor but it is an excellent shelter form the meltemi (the Etesians) (the Etesians) and from the south winds.
Marina of Paroikia is the central marina of Paros island. It is located 9 kilometers northeast of Paros International Airport (IATA: PAS).
The archeological museum of Paros located in Paroikia was constructed in 1960. The museum hosts findings that were brought to light during excavations in Paros and Antiparos.
The church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani is located a few meters from the port of Paroikia. It is one of the most significant Byzantine monuments of Greece.
