The island of Patroklos (Gaidouronisi) located in the Saronic Gulf, 3 km north of Sounion and 65 km south of Athens. The total area is 4200 acres, while the nearest point from the southwest coast of Attica is 850m.
Towards the Legraina, but well before you get there, you encounter on your right a sign that says in large letters visible 'property CRES'. At that point turn right and follow the road until the first big flat (no more than 4 minutes road).
Extensive beach front Legraina the homonymous tourist resort, located 60 kilometers southeast from the city center and 3 kilometers west of Cape Sounion. The first choice for those seeking a freestyler feeling in diving, the beach level Legraina combines Cycladic fine, golden sand and azure waters and lack of crowds.
Shortly after Legrena and below the Grecotel hotel is a small sandy beach. Plriros organized by the hotel offers magnificent waters for swimming, overlooking the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion.
Sandy beach in the well protected bay of Sounion, where in ancient times was located in the dockyard of the Athenian fleet, located across from the archeological site near the site of the hotel units, approximately 68 kilometers southeast of downtown Athens. This is a fully organized beach just below the temple of Poseidon at Sounion, with clean sand and pebbles on the edge, where you can enjoy your swim.

Arriving at Cape Sounion, instead of turning on the triangle to the Posedona to go straight and second or third street (dirt road) turn right and you will soon find yourself on a sandy beach that is not widely known, but only locally. It is not organized, so make sure to the essentials.

It lies 59 kilometers from Athens via inland and 72 km through the coastal Sounio Ave. There is a beach that offers clear blue waters.
Immediately to the west of Cape Sounion there is a small bay that is, unfortunately, often full of boats, but from there you can visit one of Greece's most beautiful ancient sites : Poseidon's Temple. It can be seen from quite a distance on its rocky pedestal.
