Passing Otzia Bay, to the North of the island, at the edge of the bay, you must leave your car and walk downhill on the path to reach the small beach. Soon you will forget how close you are to civilization.
Nuzzled in a gorgeous picturesque landscape with verdant valleys, trees and wild flowers this beautiful beach offers a serene escape for relaxing days in the sun. Visitors can swim into the sapphire waters of the sea, partake in windsurfing adventures, lie on the beach or stroll around the narrow paths winding through nature.
Several small beaches with rocky road for every car. The peninsula of Kefalas in the background was the first settlement on the island.
Gialiskari is a small beach on the north-west coast of Kea and is the most popular among the locals living in Ioulida, the capital of the island. In spite of its size, during the high season this beach counts on an extra attraction, a cafe bar that provides great views of the beach, to the point that one feels as being enjoying a drink or a meal in the middle of the beach.
Korissia is the commercial harbor within the large Bay of Saint Nicholas where the ferries dock. There is room, however for several yachts.
Route starts from Piatsa, a small square of Ioulis. From here hikers follow the road Ioulis - Korissia, which joins the stone-paved road to Milopotamos and meets the St.
