Aspros Gialos is a beautiful and secluded beach with sand and pebbles. Access to this beach requires walking, while the car must cross a dirt road, which in some places is inaccessible. The landscape is infertile and visitors must bring all the necessary for the trip.
Panormos is a small fishing harbor within a large bay on the north-east side of the island provides some protection from the meltemi (the Etesians) but it is not comfortable because of the swell. But within this bay there is much better shelter in Agia Thalassa.
Right under Kardiani village, the quiet little port of Exo Meria with the deep blue embrace of the Aegean Sea as well as the pebbles, gathers mostly families. On the advantages of the beach, you may include the taverns where you can have a meal or dinner of maritime influences.
