Vorini Spilia is a sandy beach in the north of the island not far from Agios Gorgios. The beach is not always very clean because of the strong northern winds that usually blow over it.

Port Ios or Yialos is the only port on the island. It provides excellent shelter from the meltemi (the Etesians) (the Etesians) but during the peak holiday period it is so noisy with l disco music and loud beer parties, that it is impossible to sleep.
This route leads to the highest mountain of all the Cycladic islands, Zas Mountain. Legend says that Zas has taken its name from the ancient God Zeus, who lived in the cave of Zas located on the western side of the mountain.

The cove of Alimia in the northeastern part of Iraklia hides an hydroplane of World War II, 9 meters underwater. The plane crashed after a battle with British aircrafts in September 1943.

Loutro Beach is not really suitable for swimming. There is a caique repair yard in the bay and the beach is covered with uncomfortable big stones.
Parianos beach is set on the south west coast of Koufonissia and it consists in a large sandy beach naturally protected from the winds as it is in fact the harbor where the small fishing boats are anchored. This place is ideal for families with young children and people who do not like transportations.
On your quest for good beaches in Koufonisia, you can go from Platia Pounda to Pori and continue to a small beach called Gala. Gala means milk in the Greek Language and the beach gets this distinctive name from the frothy waves that one can see in the interior of the caves.
South west of Chora, Mylopotas beach, the busiest beach of Ios, can get really crowded during summer. The long sandy beach extends for one kilometre and offers sun beds, umbrellas, beach bars, cafes, restaurants and a great variety of sea sports.
Pisina beach is exactly what its name implies: a pool (the Greek word for 'pool" is "pisina"). Located on the eastern side of the island, it boasts an amazingly beautiful and naturally carved shape of a round pool.
Just 200-300 meters separate the headlamps from the shores of the Italian or otherwise Platia Punta. The trail moves along the coast and goes side by 2-3 small individual 'pools' with pebbles or sand, fringed by rocks, which they prefer mainly nudist.

The incredibly beautiful beach resort of Mikri Vigla is located 18 kilometres away from the capital and consists in two wonderful sandy beaches separated by an impressive hill. The northern beach of Mikri Vigla is wonderful, with soft golden sand and crystalline turquoise waters and is blessed by the meltemi (north winds specific to the Cyclades) which make it an ideal place for wind/kitesurfing.
At the end of the route that usually makes the boat is Nero, a savage and the most remote beach ofthe island. There you will see several tents, but as it may, there is room for everyone.
Only by foot or by boat: these are the only ways to reach the beach of Pezoulia. If you chose the second, you’d better prefer the left side (from your perspective) of the bay, not only to enjoy the beach but also to take the way that will lead you to Aloni; it’s a large plateau with a huge fig and a sealed well.

Plaka is like a continuation of the beach of Agia Anna and is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. It is a calm and endless sandy beach with, in some parts, big flat stones and amazing crystal-clear waters.
About 23 kilometres from Ormos port, on the south coast of Ios, at the end of Mylopotas beach, a road climbs up the hills and turns right before Kalamos monastery to reach the wonderful and almost deserted Manganari bay. This enchanting bay is divided into five idyllic beaches with golden sand or pebbles, and shallow crystalline emerald waters.
Psili Ammos is situated at the east side of Naxos, between Moutsouna and Panormos. Setting from Moutsouna to Panormos you will meet Kanaki, a small village, where you will find a small sign directing you to Psili Ammos.
Kalantos is the southern and most desolated part of the coastal line of Naxos. Access to Kalantos is very difficult by shore because there is no asphalt road and the route is a little steep.
This picturesque well hidden cove has been named after its tranquility and secluded beach. Panermos or Panerimos in Greek means "completely deserted", so its main characteristic is apparent before visiting it.
The largest beach on the island, ten steps from the village, for those who doesn't want to walk a bit further. Great beach with amazing sand and turquoise waters.
From the port of the country take the road that goes east and found the Ammos, a small sandy beach with shallow waters that seem to embrace the fishing boats. It is preferred for the shallow waters for families with children.

Kambaki is among the most secluded beaches on Ios located on the north western side of the island. The unspoilt beach of Kambaki gives a lovely scenery with azure waters and peaceful atmosphere.
Small quiet beach, behind the beach Koumbara, in the bay of the harbor. For those who love reading, it is an ideal place to enjoy a good book.

The beach of Klima is reachable only through the sea. It is located opposite Prasonisi, right after the beach of Mylopota.

On the east side of the island and within walking distance from St. Theodoti lies a small village with a beautiful beach, Psathi.
To the east of the island, just 16 km from the port, we find the beach of Kalamos. It is one of the quietest on the island, with crystal blue waters and golden sand, ideal for underwater search.
Koumpara is a frequented beach with golden sand and white pebbles, located 3km northwest of the port. The beautiful bay requires a 30-minute walking from Ormos port and it can also be reached by bus.
The beach of Agia Theodoti is one of the most quiet ones in Ios and represents the ideal spot for those seeking for some quality, relaxation time away from the crowds. You can swim in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the sun in the golden sand or have an amazing meal in one of the traditional taverns of the area.
On the east coast. Microscopic coast at the northernmost tip of Schinoussa, just opposite the island Fidousa.
On the east coast. From the beach you will see Liolios narrow dirt road that goes west and takes you on three sandy beaches Aligarias, which separates cliffs.
On the east coast. Going down by Country, instead turn left, go right and you will get sandy, surrounded by rocks, beach Lioliou.
This is the next beach after Lioliou, they are separated by a small rocky outcrop. The beach is a mixture of sand a pebbles, it is a little deep and the waters have a exciting colors.
Karvounolakos beach is set on the south part of the island between Alimia and Merichas. This sandy beach is small and not organized but has marvelous waters alluring you to stay for hours in them! Around the coast you will see the stunning black rocks while its coast is of pretty light hues creating a unique contrast.
The beach is located at the south part of Iraklia, in the homonymous cove of Merichas. It is a small steep pebbled beach surrounded by steep cliffs making the scenery stunningly imposing.
Single beach and relatively easy access from a wonderful trip around the half hour from Madonna - Heraklion. There is no any kind of organization so you need to arrange for the necessary (water, sunscreen, umbrella, hat, medicine and food).
Large sandy beach with shallow crystal clear waters stretching in length and width. The islet Venetiko front and the opposite view Schinoussa complete the scene.
Agios Georgios beach is located right next to the port, on the north eastern part of the island. Its waters are blue and greenwhile the shore is covered by glittering golden sand.

Logaras Beach in southeastern Paros is another popular beach in the southeast of Paros that offers both crowded and quiet spots. It is pebbly and has very clear, shallow waters and has been awarded the blue flag.
The beach of Piso Livadi in southeastern Paros is one of the most attractive Paros Beaches, with shallow waters, soft sand and tamarisk trees. The area has many tavernas and bars, while hotel accommodation is abundant.
If we ask what the red rings of fun and entertainment, where it beats to modern rhythms of the youth crowd, who visits every year religiously Paros, we will reply without hesitation, in Punda Beach, on the southeastern side of Paros. The Punda Beach Club could be described as the temple of pleasure and entertainment.
Fountana beach is located to the east part of the island with easy access through a dirt road. It is a sandy beach approximately 40m.
It is a quaint, remote cove, with no shore, ideal for underwater fishing and trekking. In the old days the cove and the nearby Marousou Cave, were served as a shelter for pirates.
Gerolimnionas is a beautiful untouched beach located 3km from Chora and can be reached after almost a 30 minutes' walk following the dirt road and then the narrow scenic path. It is sandy and its turquoise waters make it ideal for snorkeling and spear fishing.
Lying to the north of the small village of Messaria, Fikio beach is small, sandy and features wild rocks. It is ideal for some underwater fishing as there are reefs in the open that lend a sparkling green color to the waters.
Psili Ammos beach is the jewel of Schinousa Island. It is located in a small remoted bay to the north-east of Chora, about 30 minutes walk away.
Almyros consists of two small sandy beaches, separated by rocks in the middle. It has blue-green waters and some tamarisk trees for shade (most of them at its northern half).
It is a complex of many small caves accessible only by boat. The most gorgeous ones are Gala, Pisina and Mati tou Diavolou (the eye of the devil).
One of Naxos’ most beautiful sea caves is at Rina bay. Here you will get the chance to swim in cool waters under a rock dome.
