Marikes Beach at Rafina
Exploring Rafina-Pikermi Sailing Holidays area
Near the coastal town of Rafina, about 32 km northeast of Athens Rich sand about 700 meters in length located approximately 1.5 kilometers south of the port of Rafina. It is a little beach sheltered from the strong summer winds (winds), but somewhat better protected by their south. Near the beach is the hermitage, an archaeological site of great importance, as mentioned here earlier attempts by metallurgy in ancient Greece (Helladic). On the beach there are few trees and fewer services. There is space for volleyball and soccer on the sand, and a bar.
Navigational Aids
It is an artificial port that is open to the east. It consists of two parts, the north (new) port and the south (old) port, which are divided by the central mole that extends to the east for 65 meters.
Great sandy beach in front of the homonymous old holiday resort which now has grown into a small town (Diana) is located 25 kilometers east of Athens city center (after the port of Artemis and to the church of St. Nicholas).
Sandy beach about 600 meters in length just off the port of Rafina facilities to the south is located 27 kilometers east of Athens city center. This is on a beach sheltered from the strong summer winds (winds) and the corresponding south.
Microscopic well hidden beach located 26 kilometers east of Athens city center and less than a kilometer north of the port of Rafina, on the way to the famous Red Harbour. At the end of the main street of Rafina, turn left and follow the coast road, before the Red Harbour.
Sandy beach about 400 meters in length located approximately 1.5 kilometers north of the port of Rafina and 29 kilometers east of Athens city center.
Two sandy coves that are side by side. Arriving at the port at the eye will turn right and follow the road alongside the sea, until the end.
