Vromopousi Beach at Kalopigado

Located in front of the village Kalopigado is a sandy beach of medium size, not organized, but clean and fairly quiet during the week as opposed to Saturday and Sunday and is usually crowded. Located between the seaside towns also Daskaleio and Mikrolimano. The oldest name (Vromopousi) means dirty well in Arvanite dialect and became the decade of 1980 to Kalopigado to sound better! In some places has a natural shade from trees or rocks on the beach. Follow the road Markopoulo Lavrion (Attica Road extension) and about 6 km after the second exit, turn left at Keratea lantern.

The new Lavrio Olympic Marina is only 20 minutes from the Athens International Airport (IATA: ATH) and the main gate to the Cyclades Islands. It offers 680 permanent berths, a boat repair facility and many other yacht services.
