Beach Liparo is one of the golden beaches on Kea, on the southwest coast of the island. It can be found among the beaches of Koundouros, Pisses, Kastelakia, Kambi, and Lygia.

Korissia is the commercial harbor within the large Bay of Saint Nicholas where the ferries dock. There is room, however for several yachts.
The harbor of Loutra is on the NE side of the island and is somewhat more yacht-friendly than the main ferry harbor. Although the prevailing NE winds blow down into the bay and cause a pronounced swell, the harbor, situated at the extreme W end of the bay, escapes much of the worst.
The harbor of Merichas lies on the west side of the island, five miles south of the cape of Kefalos at its northern tip. The main harbor used by the ferry boats, Merichas lies at the SE end of the homonymous bay and offers reasonable protection from the meltemi (the Etesians), which mainly gusts here from the NE.
Loutra is one of the most famous villages of Kythnos. Its name means baths because of the thermal baths of the area.
This is a beautiful and short hike to the small, calm beach Vroskopos, which is reachable only on foot or boat. Route begins from the beach of PĂses and following a sandy road from the beach.
Route starts from Piatsa, a small square of Ioulis. From here hikers follow the road Ioulis - Korissia, which joins the stone-paved road to Milopotamos and meets the St.
The Archaeological Museum of Kea is located in the entrance of Ioulida village near the central square. The building was constructed in 1970 and hosts findings from excavations in the island.
Beach Lefkes is located 2,5 km northeast of Dryopida and next to the homonymous village. Sand, pebbles and enough shade from trees.

Episkopi is a small, charming and sandy beach, which has 500 meter stretch of sand. Its organized in a small part and there is only a small taverna, offering ouzo, tsipouro and tasteful dishes.
Beach Flampouria is located 3 km southeast of Dryopida, in front of the settlement, with plenty of shade from trees. Sand, pebbles and the church of Panagia Flampouriani which dominating in the middle, dividing the beach into two parts.
Apokrousi is a blue flag beach and one of the largest beaches on the island, with sand and trees. It is located to the north of Port Merihas and after the cove Episkopi.
Agia Eirini is placed on the north east coast of Kythnos, It is a pebbled beach and can be reached from the popular Loutra beach. The waters are bright blue and provide a tranquil environment to relax, since it does not usually get crowded.
The most beautiful, like a landscape, beach of Kythnos is Kolona which is to the northwest of Mericha, just 3 km west of the country. A narrow strip of sand connects the island of Kythnos with the island of St.

That is why Pisses is one of the favourite beaches on Kea, especially for the families.
Beach Kastelakia is a peaceful and relaxing place for sunbathe and swim. Although Kastelakia beach is a paradise beach, tourists must be ready to take some food supplies and fresh water, as there are no facilities in this almost desert beach.
Beach Koundouros is on the northwest part of the island. The beach itself has nice features and is very picturesque, with restored stone mills.
Beach Ligia can be found on the south-western coast of Kea, along with Kastelakia, Pisses, Liparo, Kambi and Koundouros beaches. Secluded and remote places like Lygia beach with few or no facilities take advantage of the good connection between these beaches, and therefore, offer visitors the chance to get what they need after a walk through the path.
Surrounded by beautiful mountains and cliffs overhanging the sea, Beach Kampi provides a perfect escape from noisy crowds and polluted air. Mountains, around the beach, are cut into steps, usually a farming technique followed in hilly regions.
