About 23 kilometres from Ormos port, on the south coast of Ios, at the end of Mylopotas beach, a road climbs up the hills and turns right before Kalamos monastery to reach the wonderful and almost deserted Manganari bay. This enchanting bay is divided into five idyllic beaches with golden sand or pebbles, and shallow crystalline emerald waters.
The beach of Agia Theodoti is one of the most quiet ones in Ios and represents the ideal spot for those seeking for some quality, relaxation time away from the crowds. You can swim in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the sun in the golden sand or have an amazing meal in one of the traditional taverns of the area.
To the east of the island, just 16 km from the port, we find the beach of Kalamos. It is one of the quietest on the island, with crystal blue waters and golden sand, ideal for underwater search.
On the east side of the island and within walking distance from St. Theodoti lies a small village with a beautiful beach, Psathi.
The beach of Klima is reachable only through the sea. It is located opposite Prasonisi, right after the beach of Mylopota.
