Located just 20 minutes walk from Aggali the west side of Deep Bay (or Agali) is uninhabited, but very nice. It took its name from the chapel located on the hill. The beach has fine sand and pebbles, and when it blows south, clear water. Near the sea there are several trees that offer shade. In this deserted beach nudism is allowed. Access by boat or by boat from Karavostassis and Agali. Also, depending on the weather, stop here and make the boats around the island. On foot you can get from Agali (20 minutes) or from Ano Meria (50 minutes to an hour) along the respective paths. On the beach there is a restaurant that can provide you with the essentials.
Navigational Aids
Karavostasi is the port of the island and it is only a somewhat secure anchorage. While you can anchor off, it is not safe with a strong meltemi (the Etesians).
Ano Meria is a traditional Greek village. The houses have small windows to be protected from the very strong winds.
