Very nice beach with sand and pebbles, the gulf between Zagora and Paleopolis, near the corner of Chora. Here are the ancient mines, which operated until the beginning of the century, and a small white church on a rock. The beach is not organized.
Paraporti is the south coast of the two beaches, on the sides of the peninsula of Hora. It has a nice and big sandy beach and beautiful surroundings, with a charming river with ducks, the Venetian Castle on the left and the Tourlitis lighthouse a little further away.
After arriving at the settlement of Paleopolis located on the west coast of the island, you follow the path with the steps descending the hillside to this pebbly beach. The entire area is full of scattered antiquities, such as a great part of the ancient port and the ancient market (agora).
