The secluded beach of Agia Marina is located 84 kilometers far from Chania, very close, almost in succession to the beach Lakki. It is open to the South and affected by the strong south winds.

The Archaeological Museum of Chania is located in the Catholic Church of Saint Francis, close to the Venetian Harbor of Chania.
The building of the museum is a monument itself due to its great architecture and rich history.
50 km south of Chania is the mountain village of Askyfou, Sfakia. There is an interesting war museum there, created by a local man, who was travelling all over Crete to collect every vestige of the battle, so as to keep alive the glorious memory of Cretan war history.
The Folklore Museum of Chania is located at the center of the old city of Chania, next to the Catholic church. It houses two personal collections of folklore items, clothes and agricultural tools from Crete of past decades.
The Municipal Art Gallery is located on the top of Halidon Street in Concert Koundouros. It is a three-floor building, built in 1910.
The old port of Chania, also known as the Venetian Harbour, is a very beautiful place to visit. It has narrow streets with many shops and restaurants by the sea.
