It is a sandy beach located 20 kilometers southeast of the Saint Nicholas in front of the homonymous village. Beach is well protected from the wind because of the small pier harbor which offers a safe and relaxing swimming. The beach is organized and you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds. When you are in the area it is worth visiting the Early Minoan settlement at Royal South 4 km away . This is one of the oldest settlements in Crete (2600-2300 BC) of the Middle Minoan and Late Minoan cemetery area. The journey by car from Agios Nicholaos takes about 15 minutes.

Pachia Ammou pebbled beach is located 20 km southeast from Agios Nikolaos, on the main road leading from Agios Nikolaos to Sitia and Ierapetra, right next to the homonymous beautiful coastal village. Beach is not protected from the winds and is for the lovers of big waves.
