Triopetra West Beach

The name of Triopetra comes from the three rocks that are in the sea (Triopetra means ‘three stones’ in Greek). It’s about 12 km from Akoumia village. It’s a sandy beach with crystal clear water and an amazing sunset. You will find a couple of restaurants and also sun beds but make sure you check the weather before going there. It can get a bit windy.

It is located in distance of 58 kilometers from Rethymno and 50 kilometers from Agia Galini village. Visit it if you want to escape in a calm beach far from the crowd and the trouble.

Ligres is an isolated beach 45 minutes away from Rethymno and 7 km from the village Kerames. Here you can find some piece of your mind because there is no electricity, telephone or other useless devices.
The beach of Agia Fotini is located 39 km south of Rethymnon, it has thick sand and pebbles, while not missing the rocks. The beach is not organized at all but there is a tavern.
