TheChryssi Akti (i.e Golden Coast) is located 13 km south of the town of Agios Nikolaos in the tourist village Istro. It's a wonderful sandy beach in a cove with turquoise waters and very well organized (sunbeds, umbrellas, sea sports etc). The beach is affected by wind, also the beauty of the beach results in a heavy rush days during the peak season . An additional disadvantage is that some days the sea currents can bring trash on the shore. The journey by car from Saint Nicholas takes about 15 minutes.
