Marina di Grosseto (also, confusingly, known as Marina di San Rocco or Marina della Maremma) is situated 30 miles SE of Piombino at the mouth of the canal leading to the Tuscan town of Grosseto 12 kilometres inland. The canal basin here has been dredged and pontoons installed to create a small marina suitable for shallow-draft yachts of up to 14 metres. The marina has a total of 561 berths in depths of 2. 5 - 3. 0 metres.
