Isolotto Maraone is very low, bare and fringed by a rocky bank with depths of less than 5 m over it. The islet lies on a detached bank and is embraced by a Zone B and a Zone A, respectively, of the Marine Nature Reserve. Light-buoys (special) are moored close to the limits of these zones.
