Sailing Holidays in Moneglia

Moneglia, a village, lies on the NE side of a small bay. A breakwater 190 m in length lies approximately 20 m off the beach. With local knowledge anchorage can be obtained in depths of about 7 m, sand, SW of the smaller church. Scoglio Pietra Stella, a rocky patch awash in places, lies 180 m offshore on the alignment of Santa Croce belfry and the central arch of the E viaduct which stands above the village. Small vessels may be able to find some shelter from SW winds in the lee of Punta Moneglia (44°14′0N, 9°28′3E). Mariners should note the dangerous wreck which lies 460 m SSE of the headland.
