The village of San Vito Chietino is situated a short distance inland on the E bank of Torrente Feltrino. It stands on the edge of a hill which slopes steeply to the beach of Marina San Vito Chietino, at the SE end of which there is a chimney and at the NW end a small fort. A railway bridge of eight arches is situated halfway up the hill.
