Beautiful sandy beach about 14 km southwest of Skiathos town on the western edge of the island. The name derives from the chapel that stands out with its white color among the dense green trees, the blue sea and the golden sand. The beach has some rudimentary organization, but has the advantage that the sea is clean with golden sand and an exotic setting with light until the late afternoon. In June and July the light lasts until early evening. But no worries if you have no umbrella; the trees create enough shade to protect you all. Access is best by boat.
