The small beach along the creek where does the famous cafe 'Halcyon' at the entrance of Varkiza from the coastal highway, is located 26 km southeast of the city center. The beach is not organized, and is completely free, except for a swim in the clear waters of the Gulf of Varkiza and you can dive from the rocks. In the area near the beach you will find many cafes, restaurants, bars, etc.
