Sailing Holidays in Averof Museum

The Averof Warship is probably the most impressive surviving naval vessel of the Hellenic Navy. The Averof was launched in 1911 and remained active for more than 40 years. It took part in the two Balkan and the two World wars. In 1984 it was decided to turn the ship into a museum. Now, the Averof warship is anchored in the Trocadero Marina in Paleo Faliro. The visitors can get historical information on the Hellenic navy and technical information on navigation. It also hosts exhibitions and thematic seminars related to the Greek and international nautical history.
