The Monastery of Santa Barbara was founded in 1900. The complex includes one of the best organized orphanages for girls. Visitors can admire icons representing the life of Santa Barbara and an exhibition of hand-made embroideries. The walls of the church are covered by hagiographies which show the tortures of Agia Barbara.
