The beach is Geropotamos about 20 km east of Rethymnon next to the highway Rethymnon-Heraklion, under the eponymous bridge. The name comes from the river Geropotamos that leads to this beach. This is a beach with sand and pebbles affected by the wind. The water is deep and requires attention. Organized beach with many facilities for swimming and water sports.
