Sailing Holidays in Kato Assou Marina
The entrance is open NE, it has a width of about 30 m and depths of less than 1 m along the axis. The small harbor is protected from the N by a windward curved mole extending N for 50 m and then E for another 100 m. At its head a light (38°57´.3 N – 022°50´.1 E) operates. Its outside is protected by rock ballasting.
Its inner side is quayed, except for a part of 30 m from the head to the root, which has rock ballasting and makes mooring impossible. The leeward mole starts from a point of the shore about 50 m E from the root of the windward mole and extends NNE for 40 m. At its head a light (38°57´.3 N – 022°50´.1 E) operates. An inner jetty extending N for about 30 m is 20 m E of the inner root of the windward mole. At its E root there is slipway.
About 50 m E of the root of the leeward mole a new one has been built, extending NE for 40 m with sides protected by rock ballasting. At its head a light (37°57΄.3 N – 022°56΄.2 E) operates.
