Rivanj harbour (44°09′N 15°02′E) on the SW coast of Otok Rivanj is formed by breakwaters which provide shelter from the Bora and N winds and partially from the Scirocco. In a heavy sea the waves break over the breakwaters. Anchorage may be obtained in about 35 m, sand and shells, W of the summit of Otok Rivanj, taking care to avoid two submarine cables which cross the channel SE.
