Novigrad (45°19′N 13°34′E) is a small town situated on a peninsula which forms the N entry point to Luka Mirna. The harbour is entered between Rt Lameja, the W extremity of the peninsula and S entrance point and Rt Mujela, 0. 4 miles NNW. The town, with its old fortifications and cathedral extending E from Rt Lameja, is a small tourist centre with a marina within the harbour. Anchorage may be obtained N of the mole in about 6 m, sand and mud, good holding.
