Vinišće harbour (43°29′N 16°08′E) is entered between Rt Artatur, from which a light is exhibited, and a point about 370 meters NE. The village of Vinišće lies around the head of the long narrow inlet. Anchorage sheltered from all winds, but exposed to a considerable sea in E winds, may be obtained in the middle of inlet in about 15 m, mud. In a Bora a hawser laid to the shore, is advised. Small vessels may obtain anchorage nearer the head of the inlet in depths of about 5 m.
