Otočić Dutin Veli is bare and white in colour with a former measured distance beacon near its N end. The islet stands on a bank 1 mile offshore with a rocky shoal, least depth 3·6 m on the bank 0.9 miles SSE, and Otočić (Hrid) Dutin Mali close E.
