Crikvenica harbour (45°10′N 14°42′E) lies at the mouth of Rijeka Dubračina. The town of Crikvenica is a summer resort and lies in the valley of the river, backed by high mountains. Although there is good holding outside the harbour entrance, anchorage here is exposed to the Bora and Scirocco and is not recommended. It is restricted by a submarine cable laid WSW across Vinodolski Kanal from Crikvenica to Uvala Stipanja, 1140 meters miles SW. Deep draught vessels may obtain anchorage off a mole in Uvala Dražica, 0. 7 miles NW of Crikvenica harbour.
