Sailing Holidays in Uvala Zambratija

Uvala Zambratija (45°28′N 13°30′E), entered N of Rt Kašte, is protected NW by Hridi Šipar, a group of submerged and low above-water rocks which extend about 0. 6 miles SW from the N entrance point of the cove. Pličina Šipar, at the SW end of these rocks, is marked on its outer edge by a buoy (W cardinal, no topmark). The small village of Zambratija stands at the head of the cove. Local knowledge is required. The cove affords sheltered anchorage to coasters in a Bora and in N and NW winds, clear of a submarine pipeline laid WSW from the root of Rt Kaštel.
