Poreč (45°14′N 13°36′E) is a small town situated on a low peninsula and sheltered SW by Otočić Sveti Nikola, about 17 miles S of Rt Savudrija. The ancient town is an important tourist centre and health resort, with a number of tourist complexes in the vicinity. The small harbour with a marina lies SSW of the town.
