Sailing Holidays in Zaljev Budima
Zaljev (Zaliv) Budima (42°48′N 17°50′E) is entered between Rt Donji and Rt Pologrin, about 4 miles W, from which a light (white metal tower, 5 m in height) is exhibited. The bay is indented by a number of smaller bays and affords the largest and best anchorage in Koločepski Kanal. The preferred anchorage is to be found off the NE side about 1140 meters miles WNW of Rt Donji in about 20 to 40 m, about 450 meters offshore, good holding, sand and mud. Farther offshore, nearer the middle of the bay, anchorage may be obtained in about 59 m greenish mud.
It is customary for coasters anchored close inshore to lay out cables to the shore in anticipation of a Bora.
