The area of Laganas is the most famous place on the island. Sandy beach with a length of about 9 km, is one of the longest beaches in Greece.

Agios Sostis beach is a small but well-organized beach. It is in a short distance from the beach of Laganas.

Dafni beach is located south of Zakynthos in Vassilikos area. The beaches of this region belong to the Marine Park of Zakynthos.

Kalamaki beach is a long sandy beach of Laganas bay. The beach at Kalamaki has a very fine sand and crystal-clear waters.

The beach is located between Kaminia Argassi and Vassilikos. It is a sandy beach without crowds, tavernas, sunbeds and umbrellas.

It is a small beach with many bars, cafes and restaurants and, also, a diving school. Nearby there are the famous Blue Caves and Marathonisi which has beautiful beaches and clear waters.

Marathonissi is a small uninhabited island in the bay of Laganas. It is also known as Turtle Island.

Porto Koukla is an unspoilt beach, perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. Its name means doll in Greek and it is used to imply that someone /something is beautiful.

The small beach Sekania is a member of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, which protects the sea turtle Caretta-Caretta and wildlife throughout the region. More than half of the eggs that are born on the island, can be found in this beach.
