Mykonos Marina (known locally as the New Port or Tourlos) is a new marina located around two kilometers north of the old harbor and the town of Mykonos, the most popular and cosmopolitan town and island of the Cyclades. Mykonos International Airport (IATA: JMK) is located 3.5 Km (2 miles) southeast of the marina and is served by international airlines and charters during summer.
Mykonos Marina provides good shelter from the prevailing winds and is quiet, as being distant from the main town (about half an hour's walk from the town and its attractions). There are a couple of good restaurants close to the marina.
Yachts normally berth stern/bows-to or alongside in the two basins lying starboard immediately after entering the marina. Depths along the jetty and breakwater range from 4.25 metres at the root to 4.5 metres at the end. The basin is subject to some swell, especially with strong south winds. Boats also tie stern to the outside of the breakwater. There are 30 laid moorings for larger (20-25 metre) yachts on the marina's south west quay.
